Pat lives in the Ellis Hollow area of Ithaca, east of Cornell.  Our family has a house on a heavily wooded lot, so vegetable gardening has been challenging.  I am passionate about vegetable gardening, starting most of my plants from seed.  I never get tired of seeing the tiny shoots coming up out of the soil - I always shout out to my husband and kids when the first seeds are up.  They are patient and humor me.  Of course they get the rewards of the harvest in the end.
